TAPE and a TRACTOR

Subsurface drip irrigation begins underground.

First, with a plow and high-quality Netafim drip irrigation tape. The depth of the tape is placed depending upon the type of field and the farming practices.

Next comes installing the pipe system that connects the water source to the irrigation system. The pipe and the tape lines are then connected together by a special kind of tubing called a riser.

Once everything is connected, it's time to cover our tracks. As the name implies, the majority of a subsurface drip irrigation system is below the ground. However, just because you can't see it doesn't mean you can't manage and control the system. The entire SDI system can be monitored and controlled through your smartphone, giving you round-clock monitoring and adjusting.
